Yoga brings us back to the body, the breath, and the heart. Yoga brings us back to the present moment and shows us the true self.

Class Descriptions

Yin Yoga - Yin Yoga is a quiet and contemplative practice that allows us to hold a series of seated and reclined poses for a longer period of time (usually 3-8 minutes) in order to deepen into our joints, ligaments, connective tissue, and fascia. Each pose becomes a journey where we deepen into a felt sense of our bodies and bring stillness to our minds. Students will feel relaxation, greater flexibility, and increased circulation and spaciousness in the body.

Gentle Hatha - Alignment-based Hatha combines pranayama (breathwork), asana, and meditation. In this class, you will release tension and stress from the body, gain flexibility, and create spaciousness in our bodies by holding postures longer. Hatha focuses on the internal alignment of poses, which allows for a deepening into the posture. Through this deepening, we will be able to hear our own intuition and discover the wisdom of our hearts and our bodies.

Restorative Yoga - Restorative yoga is a mindful, slow-paced practice that supports the calming of the nervous system. In this class, you will release deeply-held tension in the body by relaxing into three to seven comfortable poses. In each of these poses, the body is supported by various props - bolsters, blocks, and blankets. Conscious breathing (pranayama) will also be a part of the practice.
